I agree that The Art of Possibility is a good read. I find myself rereading the book from time-to-time to remind myself of some of its useful concepts. Green's Inner Game of Music provides useful ideas for the musician, and it is written by a double bassist. Actually, I have found it quite difficult to read especially the first one-third of it.
